Murray Bridge to host the Royal Commission's first community consultation

Murray Bridge will be the site of the first community consultation staged by the Murray-Darling Basin Royal Commission, with further locations across the Basin to be announced soon.

 
The Commission was established in January 2018 by the South Australian Government to investigate the operations and effectiveness of the Murray-Darling Basin Plan. Bret Walker SC, has been appointed Commissioner.
 
As part of its work, the Commission is listening to communities across the Basin through a series of Community Consultation sessions. The first session will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 10.30am to 12.30pm at the Murray Bridge Community Club in Murray Bridge.
 
All people who have an interest in the Basin Plan are welcome to attend and share their views on issues raised by the Terms of Reference.
